My dad was a fly fisherman, it rubbed off a little. Growing up in Colorado, I was active in the outdoors from an early age, earning my Eagle Scout before setting off to college.

I’ve bounced around a bit, first pursuing a career in fisheries biology before finding my true passion for creating things. I entered the world of product design as an entreprenuer, developing the dropper rig box for my business, Tandem Fly Co. Today, I provide freelance design services in the outdoor industry as I work towards my degree in industrial design.

Most of my free time is spent in the mountains with my wife and our dog Jack.  We love to fly fish, snowboard, hike, camp, backpack, forage, and view wildlife.

My ultimate goal is to be able to make products that elevate the outdoor experience.
